We are a family-owned and operated art school, founded on the teaching methods of Master Artist Thomas S. Cleveland. Today, his daughter Amber Cleveland carries on that legacy by teaching, mentoring, and managing the program alongside a team of hand-picked professional artists.
We offer art classes for kids (starting at age 4), teens, and adults, from beginner to advanced levels. Students receive individualized instruction in small group settings with demonstrations in drawing and painting, working in media such as graphite, tempera, watercolor, gouache, alcohol markers, pastel, colored pencil, acrylic, and oil. Our curriculum is tailored to each individual student, ensuring their growth at their own pace.
More than just classes, our schools foster a supportive, judgment-free community where artists of all ages and levels grow together. Many of our students remain with us for years—some go on to become professional artists themselves, while others simply enjoy creating in a studio where peers encourage and inspire them.

We believe art should be accessible and stress-free. That’s why we don’t lock families into long commitments. You can join anytime of the year, at any point in the month, and stay for as long as you’d like.
Our students proudly showcase their creativity in local and national contests, including the Houston Art Society Show, the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, and the Art of Conservation’s Songbird and Fish Contests.
Every class is led by passionate artists who also work professionally outside the classroom. From murals to commissions to face painting, our teachers bring real-world experience into every lesson.
We believe quality tools and materials enable students to create quality art. That’s why we provide the same high-grade materials professional artists use, including Winsor & Newton and Van Gogh watercolors, Liquitex acrylics, Prismacolor colored pencils, Ohuhu alcohol markers, and Rembrandt oil and soft pastels. Your child will experience art the way true artists do.
